Al-Shabaab renews threat of more bloodshed in Kenya

NAIROBI – The Somali Islamist group al-Shabaab is again threatening Kenya more bloodshed.

No fewer than 79 people were injured and 587 other were evacuated. The four gunmen that carried out the attacked were killed by Kenyan security .

Reacting to the attact, President Uhuru Keyatta said: “this is a moment for everyone throughout the country to be vigilant as we continue to confront and defeat our enemies.”

“It is a very sad day for Kenya,” Interior Ministry Joseph Nkaissery said of the carnage at Garissa University College. (dpa/NAN)
