Albert Okumagba, Foremost Nigerian Stockbroker Dies At 56

Foremost Nigerian Stock Broker, and a onetime Delta State governorship candidate, Albert Okumagba, is dead.

He died in early hours of Thursday, at age of 56.

Okumagba, Group Managing Director of BGL Group, parent body to BGL Securities Limited and BGL Asset Management Limited, was reputed for significant roles played in nation’s stocks brokerage subsector.

Okumagba was arraigned at Chief Magistrate in Wuse Zone 6, Abuja in September 2017 following a petition against him and deputy through Securities and Exchange Commission () by some investors alleged capital fraud.

The case was running its course before shocking passage, Thursday.
