Foremost Nigerian Stock Broker, and a onetime Delta State governorship candidate, Albert Okumagba, is dead.
He died in the early hours of Thursday, at the age of 56.
Okumagba, the Group Managing Director of BGL Group, parent body to BGL Securities Limited and BGL Asset Management Limited, was reputed for significant roles played in the nation’s stocks brokerage subsector.
Okumagba was arraigned at the Chief Magistrate Court in Wuse Zone 6, Abuja in September 2017 following a petition against him and his deputy through the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) by some investors over alleged capital market fraud.
The case was still running its course before his shocking passage, Thursday.
