Abuja – The Nigerian Army is set to hold its Combat Support Arms Training ( COSAT) Week in Maiduguri from AUG. 13 to Aug. 17.
Spokesman of the Army, Brig.-Gen. Texas Chukwu, said in a statement on Thursday that the training week would be hosted by the Headquarters, Nigerian Army Corps of Artillery.
According to Chukwu, the theme of the training is: “Strengthening Combat Support Arms Cooperation in Contemporary Security Challenges”.
He explained that the combat support arms training week was an annual event for the combat support units of the army to brainstorm, share and exchange ideas.
“Activities lined up for the week-long event include lectures, discussions, simulations exercises and display of new innovations by combat support arms,” Chukwu said.
He said the Chief of Army Staff, Lt.-Gen. Tukur Buratai, senior military officers and other invited guests were expected to be in attendance.
