According to Biosah, the new studio will serve as a recording base for any form of international recording within the continent.
“What we are doing now is a partnership that will bring 11th Street studios to Africa.[pro_ad_display_adzone id=”8″]
“We have the architectural drawings, equipment listing and we have a location for the studio in Asaba.
“The idea is that some of the artistes that are 11th Street studio clients who would want to do some recordings on the continent could come.
“In the past, artistes such as Paul Simon had collaboration with artistes from Africa and did basic recordings.
“So we have been talking with some of these people we know that want to come to Africa; there is always something to take from African music,’’ he said.
Biosah has managed and worked with notable artistes like Sir Victor Uwaifo, Christy Igbokwe, Onyeka Onwenu, Sunny Ade, Billy Jackson, Cool and the Gang, Brothers Johnson and Sky.
Fisher has also worked with Beyonce, Whitney Houston, 2pac, BIG, Lil Wayne, Bruno Mars, R. Kelly, TLC, 50 Cents and Akon, among others.(NAN)
