ABUJA (Sundiata Post) – The Aso Villa Chapel on Sunday, commenced a praise concert to usher in the 18th anniversary of Nigeria’s democracy on Monday, May 29.
The concert, titled: ’29-Hour Non-Stop Praise,’ which started at 1 pm on Sunday at the Nigerian Armed Forces Centre, Abuja, will end by 7 pm on Monday.
According to the Chaplain of Aso Rock Chapel, Pastor Seyi Malomo, guest artistes include Pastor Kunle Ajayi, Pastor Elijah Oyelade, Chioma Jesus, Steve Crown, Solomon Lange and Kingsley Ike.
Others are Moji Alawiye, Bukola Olubona, Chris Morgan, Samsung, Asu Ekiye, Nkechi Williams among others.
Malomo described the praise concert as a necessary ingredient to bring down the glory of God upon Nigeria.
The chapel, on Sunday, also celebrated the children in commemoration of Children’s Day which was celebrated on Saturday
Aso Villa Chapel children and children from the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Grace Arena ministered in songs and bible presentation.
Acting President Yemi Osinbajo, who delivered the sermon with the title: “Herod Wants to Kill You, Run,” urged everyone to at all times listen to godly counsel.
While calling on the parents to always teach their children things of God, he used the occasion to pray for the children.
