Ibadan – The University of Ibadan Muslim Graduates Association (UIMGA) will on Saturday Feb. 6, organise an Education Summit where all stakeholders in educational development in the country would converge.
This Is contained in a statement signed by the chairman, planning committee, Alhaji Mojeed Imran, which was made available to newsmen on Tuesday in Ibadan.
The theme of the summit is: “Education: Panacea to Insurgency”
According to the statement, Dr Wale Babalakin (SAN) and Chairman, Bi-Courtney Nigeria Ltd will be the guest speaker on the theme of the summit.
According to the statement, the objective of the summit is to identify the problems confronting Muslim Education in the country.
The Summit will bring together various stakeholders in the field of education across the country.

A similar summit by the association was held in 2005, where the challenges facing Muslim Education were identified.
“Since then, UIMGA has been supporting the programme of indigent students at both degree and postgraduates levels”
“Ten years have passed, it is our conviction that it is time to assess the impact of various efforts, challenges and the way forward,’’ Imran said in the statement. (NAN)
