LAGOS (Sundiata Post) – The equities market closed today on a positive note, as Nigerian Stock Exchange All share index (NSE ASI) appreciated by 0.36% to close at 28,805.45basis points, compared with the 0.10% depreciation recorded previously. Its Year-to-Date (YTD) returns currently stands at +0.57%.
Market breadth closed negative as FO led 12gainers against 24losers topped by Vitafoam at the end of Friday’s session- an unimproved performance when compared with previous outlook.
Market turnover closes positive as volume moved up by 33.87% against 7.00% uptick recorded in the previous session. Skye Bank, UCAP and First Bank Holding of Nigeria (FBNH) were the most active to boost market turnover. Guaranty Bank Plc and Zenith Bank Plc top market value list.
