JAKARTA – The bodies of two Indonesian women slain in Hong Kong and found in a British banker’s apartment arrived on Tuesday in Jakarta, the state news agency reported.

The coffins containing the mutilated remains of Seneng Mujiasih and Sumarti Ningsih arrived at the Soekarno Hatta International Airport.

Krisna Jaelani, a Foreign Ministry official in charge of Citizen Protection Abroad, said that the coffins would be taken to the women’s hometowns on the island of Sulawesi and in Central Java.

Jaelani said that the bodies were found in the apartment of Rurik Jutting, 29, who worked for Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

Report says both women, in their 20s, had worked in Hong Kong as domestic helpers and returned there on tourist visas. (dpa/NAN)
