Maiduguri – The Borno Government said on Tuesday that it had earmarked N100 million for rebuilding structures damaged in three insurgent ravaged communities of Konduga local government area of the state.
The affected communities of Dalori, Mairi and Malari were attacked last week by suspected Boko Haram terrorists.
Gov. Kashim Shettima disclosed this during a sympathy visit to the affected communities.
Shettima expressed sadness over the attacks and appealed to the residents to consider it as an act of destiny.
He said government would collaborate with security agencies towards beefing up security across the state.
Shettima prayed for the repose of the soul of those killed during the attack, assuring that government will shoulder the medical bills of those injured.
Meanwhile, the governor also assessed the reconstruction work going on in Kaga local government area of the state where he expressed satisfaction with the quality of work done.
Besides, Shettima nspected the renovation of Government Secondary School, Auno, and Junior Secondary School, Benesheikh, both in Kaga local government area.

The governor charged the contractors to speed up work towards completing the projects on schedule. (NAN)
