Abuja (Sundiata Post) — President Muhammadu Buhari, on Friday, approved, for immediate deployment, four of the newly-appointed ambassadors-designate.
The ambassadors-designate include: Professor Tijjani Bande from Kebbi State, Itegboje Sunday Samson from Edo State, Kadiri Ayinla Audu from Kwara State, and Bankole A. Adeoye from Ogun State.
While Bande is the Ambassador/Representative to the Permanent Mission of #Nigeria to the United Nations Headquarters in New York, Samson is the Ambassador/Deputy Representative.
While Audu is Ambassador/Representative to the Permanent Mission of #Nigeria to the United Nations Offices in Geneva, Adeoye is Ambassador/Representative to the Embassy of #Nigeria/Permanent Mission the African Union in Addis Ababa.
A statement posted on the President’s Facebook wall, Muhammadu Buhari, on Friday added: “The deployments are with immediate effect. I wish the new Ambassadors/Representatives the very best in their assignments”.
