Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) operatives on Thursday evening raided the Abuja home of Danjuma Goje, a former governor of Gombe State.
A witness said the operatives were still at the Asokoro house at about 6:05 p.m, Sundiata Post has learnt.
Mr. Goje, a serving senator, is currently being prosecuted for alleged corruption while he was Gombe governor.
He became a governor of Gombe State on the 29th May 2003 Danjuma Goje and contested for the seat of Senator in the Nigerian National Assembly in 1998 and later on became the Minister of State, Power and Steel from 1999-2001 under President Olusegun.
