“Now that Nigeria is diversifying its economy, we are thinking about investing in agriculture, mining and infrastructure; these are areas of cooperation for China and Nigeria.
“This will for sure provide powerful impetus to China-Nigeria economic and trade cooperation for mutual benefits,’’ he said.
According to him, this year marks the 45th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Nigeria.
Responding, the minster commended the envoy for his efforts to sustain China-Nigeria relationship for mutual benefits to both countries.
Onu assured the envoy that Nigeria would honour all agreements reached with the Chinese Ministry of Technology and the Chinese Government.
“ When I recently visited China, the relationship I suggested there is government to government.
“Nigeria wants to work very closely with China in the area of science and technology, because China has done so well in the past three decades, “ he said (NAN)
