Mr Lawrence Ezeudu, candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for Anaocha/Dunukofia and Njikoka Federal Constituency, Anambra, has expressed warm wishes to the people on the occasion of this year’s Christmas celebration.
Ezeudu, a sitting member of the Anambra House of Assembly representing Dunukofia State constituency, made the felicitation in a statement personally signed by him.
He thanked God for sparing the lives of the people up to this moment and for the grace of allowing them to celebrate another commemoration of the birth of Jesus Christ whom he described as the essence of being and hope for salvation.
“On this occasion, I want to join Christians in Nigeria and all over the world to celebrate the commemoration of the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ.
“In a special way, I want to congratulate the people of Anaocha/Dunukofia and Njikoka Federal constituency and wish them God’s continued grace and blessing.
“As the people’s representative, I renew my vow to continue to serve with fear of God and love for humanity. I want to use my modest record of stewardship in the State House of Assembly as a credential for seeking their support as I aspire to represent Anaocha/Dunukofia and Njikoka Federal constituency in the National Assembly,” he stated.
Ezeudu called on Nigerians to embrace peace and fair play as the nation goes into a crucial general election in February next year.
He said people should be free to hold their political opinions and respect those of others while eschewing all forms of violence.
“I pray that the virtues of Jesus Christ which include love, peace, empathy, forgiveness, tolerance and respect for divine will, shall reign in our hearts as individuals and as a nation as we chose our new leaders, next year,” he said.
