LAGOS – Rev. Emmanuel Adeniran, the District Superintendent, Apostolic Faith, West Africa, on Tuesday identified “individual transformation“ as key to national development.
Adeniran made the assertion in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos.
He said that it would take the effort and commitment of the citizens to instate an environment characterised by harmony, love, and care for the nation.
“My prayer for this nation is that the great God of heaven will visit us with his power to transform us from within.[eap_ad_2]
“We`ve spent a lot of money on infrastructure; we`ve spent a lot on education, which is good. But where the people we invest such money on still imbibe a lot of values that are contrary even to the development of the country, I think we miss it.
“And that is why my prayer is that God will visit Nigeria with a moral and righteous revolution that will make us to imbibe Godly values.
“Values of love, values of care for the other individual, value of investing yourself in the society and transforming it as your contribution to coming to this earth.“
Adeniran, therefore, urged Nigerians to rededicate themselves to national transformation.
He also advised Nigerians not to shun the ongoing efforts by the Federal Government to ensure nationwide development. (NAN)[eap_ad_3]
