Abuja – A Kubwa Grade I Area Court on Thursday, ordered that one Dorcas Dogo, be remanded in Suleja Prisons for allegedly damaging glass windows of Zion Church, Kubwa.
The Judge, Abdulwahab Mohammed, also ordered the defence counsel, Mr James Duruorj, to file a written bail application to the court.
Mohammed had refused to hear an oral bail application.
He adjourned until Jan. 23.
The defendant is charged with three counts of joint act, criminal trespass and mischief.
Earlier, the prosecutor, Babajide Olanipekun, had told the court that one Okechukwu Oye of Zion Church, Kubwa, Abuja, reported the matter at the Kubwa Police Station on Nov.16.
He alleged that the defendant and eight others still at large, jointly trespassed into the complainant’s church with the intent to commit an offence on the said date.
He told the court that the defendant and her accomplices caused damages worth N40, 000.
