Abuja (Sundiata Post) – The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control said the country has recorded 120 fresh cases of #COVID-19 infections.
The health agency while announcing this via it’s twitter handle account late Sanday night, said the fresh infections brought total confirmed cases now to 160,657 out of which 145,399 patients have been discharged from across the various isolation facilities in Nigeria.
It further stated that fourteen states, including the FCT, reported fresh cases as follows:
Lagos-32; Rivers-25; Kaduna-20; Bayelsa-13;
Kano-7; Jigawa and Borno-5 each; Abia-4; Oyo-3; Plateau-2 while FCT, Ogun, Nasarawa and Imo State recorded 1 infection each.
The NCDC regrettably announced that 2,013 lives has been lost to COVID-19 related ailments since the outbreak of the pandemic in Nigeria.
