Cybercrime Investigation, Prosecution: EFCC, US Train EFCC Operatives and Justice Ministry Officials

Abuja (Sundiata Post) – The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, (EFCC), in collaboration with the US Department of Justice, (DoJ), on Thursday, August 4, 2022 concluded a 4-day training programme on cybercrime and crypto-currency investigation for operatives of the Commission and staff of the Federal Ministry of Justice at the EFCC Academy, Karu, Abuja.

The Commission disclosed this in statement released via it’s official twitter handle.

According to the statement, the Executive Chairman of the EFCC, Abdulrasheed Bawa, was represented by Deputy Commandant, Training, EFCC Academy, Assistant Commander of EFCC, ACE Babashani Umar Sanda.

He said the programme was designed to improve the synergy between the Commission and the Ministry of Justice and expose the participants to current trends in cybercrime investigation and prosecution.
