KETARE (KATSINA STATE)- The District Head of Ketare in Kankara Local Government Area of Katsina State, Alhaji Usman Bello, has advised the newly recruited police constables from the area to further their education.

Alhaji Bello gave the advice when the eight newly recruited policemen paid him a courtesy visit on Wednesday in his palace in Ketare.

The district head told them that it was necessary for them to further their education because it would enable them to progress and build a career in the police force.

Bello, who is also the Kanwan Katsina, further urged the constables who recently completed training at the Police College, Kaduna, to be dedicated to their duties in service to the nation.

He also commended the only female among them who is from Wawar Kaza community for enlisting and successfully completing her training.

The Kanwan Katsina also called on other females from the district to emulate her in the service to the fatherland.

Speaking during the visit, the Divisional Police Officer in Kankara, SP Salman Dalhatu expressed gratitude to the monarch for providing them accommodation.

Dalhatu said the accommodation in Kankara town would enable them to discharge their duties diligently.

He acknowledged the existing cordial working relationship and synergy between the district head’s office and Kankara Police Division at all times.

Police Constable Rufa’I Ketare had earlier informed the district head that they were posted back to their respective local government areas of origin.

According to him, the posting to their local government of origin was directed by the Inspector General of Police (IGP).

Ketare thanked the Kanwan Katsina for his fatherly role, advice and support at all times and assured him that they would work with dedication. (NAN)
