Super Eagles defender, Juwon Oshaniwa, has reiterated that the team would top the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying group ahead of Egypt.
Nigeria missed out of the last edition hosted by Equatorial Guinea and has started the 2-017 qualifying series on a winning note, beating Chad 2-0 in Kaduna to place second behind leaders Egypt, on goal difference after Egypt beat Tanzania 3-0 in Cairo.
Oshaniwa, who was part of the all conquering team that lifted the Nations Cup in South Africa in 2013, said that the team must put all necessary things in shape, in order to pick the sole ticket.[pro_ad_display_adzone id=”70560″]
“For sure, it’s not going to be an easy task ahead of us looking at our opponents but I believe that we can top this group at the end provided we all work together,” he said.
Su[per Eagles will play Tanzania away on September 6, 2015 and will be without Ogenyi Onazi.
