Ado-Ekiti – The Speaker of the Ekiti State House of Assembly, Mr Kola Oluwawole, says better days await the people of the state under the administration of Gov. Ayo Fayose.
Oluwawole gave the assurance in a statement signed by his media aide, Mr Stephen Gbadamosi, in Ado-Ekiti on Tuesday.
According to the statement, residents will continue to experience positive impact of some policies of the present government in the state.
“We are very hopeful that in the days ahead, some of the policies of the current government will begin to yield fruits and we can cushion the effect of the dwindling revenue,” it quoted the speaker as saying.

The statement also reassured workers in the state of their job security.
“The current economic reality in Ekiti State is such that if there is no money in the hands of civil servants, every other sector of the state economy suffers,” it said.
The speaker, according to the statement, called on Ekiti people to be patient and also rise up to their own responsibilities in order to complement the government’s efforts.
He restated the commitment of the legislature to formulate laws that would better the state and make it compete with other states of the nation. (NAN)
