According to him, ESSPIN also built blocks of classroom in 40 other nomadic schools where temporary structures were used for lessons.
He said that the programme had also drilled water boreholes in 20 schools where there was acute water scarcity.
Manu stated that the state government had released money to the agency which was used for the procurement and distribution of 300 seats and 2,000 mats to the schools.
He commended ESSPIN for the gesture, saying, “it will go a long way in enhancing nomadic education in the state”.
He said it would also enhance school attendance among children of nomads in the state as well as boost the level of literacy among children at the grassroots. (NAN)
