Fayose and I are not fighting, says Ewi of Ado-Ekiti

ADO-EKITI – The Ewi of Ado-Ekiti, Oba Rufus Adejugbe, has said that the relationship between him and a former Ekiti governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose, cordial.

Adejugbe made this known on Sunday when he received Fayose, who on a campaign tour of Ado Local Area, in his palace at Ado-Ekiti.

Fayose is the Peoples (PDP) governorship candidate for the 2014 gubernatorial election in Ekiti .

The noted that he not thinking or talking about the past, adding that the past had gone with its inadequacies.

He, however, enjoined candidates of all parties, including Fayose, be in campaigns, so as not throw the into .

“We do not want fighting, and in Ekiti State, what we want is peace and ”, the Oba said.

Earlier, Fayose told the Oba that he was in his palace homage, as well as his royal blessings.

Fayose praised the Ewi for being magnanimous in forgiving him his wrong doings of the past, adding that he was now a better person, more responsible, mature and responsive.
