LAGOS- Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has caused a buzz online as he was spotted buying roasted plantain (Boli) from a roadside vendor after conducting an inspection along the Lagos-Ibadan expressway.

The incident, captured in a video shared by the Governor’s Senior Special Assistant on New Media, Jubril Gawat, delighted many residents.

In the video, Governor Sanwo-Olu is seen engaging with contractors and workers on the Lagos-Ibadan expressway, addressing issues related to containers causing obstructions and accidents on the highway.

The Governor made it clear that such disruptions would no longer be tolerated, emphasizing the importance of safety and order on the roads.

However, it was the unexpected stop at a roadside Boli (Bole) seller that truly captured the hearts of Lagosians.

After a long day of work and continuous engagement on road safety matters, Governor Sanwo-Olu decided to unwind by indulging in some roasted plantains.

“After a long day of Work and continuous PARA by Governor @jidesanwoolu around Lagos Badagry Expressway, We all used BOLI (Bole) to step down the tension as we headed back home.
