KADUNA- Gov. Mukhtar Yero of Kaduna State on Friday appointed eight new permanent secretaries in the state.
Swearing-in the new officers, Yero tasked them to ensure that they kept to the oath of office, as well as ensure excellent service delivery.
He said the appointment was strictly based on merit and not on any political consideration.

The governor, therefore, urged other civil servants in the state to improve on their service delivery, as well as shun any form of sentiments that would bring division and poor service delivery.
The new permanent secretaries include, Aliyu Bamali, Lukman Musa, Adamu Atama, Ladi Pate, Marcus Baba, Lawal Usman, Joshua Gambo and Ishaya Yem. (NAN)
