Governors, serving and former, as well as past government functionaries thronged Abeokuta yesterday for the burial of Madam Adunni Eweje-Obasanjo, the younger sister of former President Olusegun Obasanjo.
Madam Eweje, as she was fondly called, died on May19 at the age of 76.
Shortly after the funeral service, personalities across and outside the country turned to the country home of the former president to condole with him.

The dignitaries at the hilltop mansion of the Obasanjo, included Oyo State governor, Sen Abiola Ajimobi; his predecessor, Otunba Alao Akala; former Osun State governor, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola.
The commandant general of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Dr Ade Abolurin; the newly elected president of African Development Bank (AfDB) and former minister of Agriculture, Dr. Akinwunmi Adeshina and the immediate senior special assistant to Ogun State government on Environment, Otunba Yomi Odunowo.
