“Jonathan has succeeded in putting the economy on sound footing. It is in our best interest to allow [pro_ad_display_adzone id=”8″]
Jonathan’s transformation agenda to continue,” he said.
He expressed regret that some Nigerians were using the nation’s misfortunes such as security challenges for campaigns.
According to him, some politicians and other Nigerians condemn Jonathan administration because of terrorist attacks in the country.
“The president is fighting a good war in spite of distractions and detractors. We decided to work for re-election of President Jonathan for continuity of his agenda for Nigeria.
“In view of his numerous achievements, we will do our best to ensure success for him in Lagos State.
“This administration has recorded more convictions than any other administration. Its agricultural programmes have resulted in job creation.
“ On education, the administration ensured that 12 states got federal universities. Jonathan has built Almajeri schools in the north, ensured massive road rehabilitation and lots more.
“It baffles us when people claim that they have not seen the achievements of the present administration,’’ he said.
The secretary also urged Lagos residents to vote for Mr Jimi Agbaje, the Peoples Democratic Party governorship candidate for the state. (NAN)
