Abuja (Sundiata Post) – Imo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has expelled its governorship candidate, Senator Hope Uzodimma for inordinate and anti-party activities.
His expulsion was contained in a letter dated 23rd January 2019 signed by the state Chairman of the party, Mr Daniel Nwafor and the secretary, Hon. Obioma Ireagwu G.
The letter reads in parts:
This is to inform you that the All Progressives Congress (APC) Omuma Ward of Oru East Local Government Area in Imo state has expelled Senator Hope Uzodimma from the party due to certain inordinate and anti-party activities perpetuated by him and his cohorts.
The state working committee (SWC) affirmed the expulsion of Senator Hope Uzodimma after examining the processes and procedure of the sanction by Omuma ward.
Recalls that the party last week suspended the governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha for what it described as anti-party activities.
