The Magistrate, Mrs Y.R. Pinheiro, sentenced Agbon after he pleaded guilty to a two-count charge of stealing and obtaining under false pretence.
Pinheiro held that Agbon, who resides in Agege area of Lagos State, should serve out the one-year jail term without an option of fine.
Earlier, the prosecutor, Insp. Mathew Akhaluode, told the court that Agbon committed the offences in 2012 at No. 112, Broad St., Lagos Island.

“When the company discovered that the Agbon had converted the money to his personal use, he was asked to refund the money, but he failed to do so.
