Israeli agency partners Nasarawa govt. in agricultural development

LAFIA – An Israeli Travel and Tour agency, Tailor Made Tours, is partnering the Nasarawa State[pro_ad_display_adzone id=”8″] Government to boost agricultural potentials of the state.
Mr Clement Odeh, Executive Secretary, Nasarawa State Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board disclosed this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lafia on Friday.
According to Odeh, the president of the agency, Mrs Josephine Zinder, had announced last week at the[pro_ad_display_adzone id=”10″] closing of the 2014 pilgrimage in Jerusalem that the effort was part of the company’s corporate social responsibility.
Odeh said the partnership would afford seven agricultural experts from the state the opportunity to embark on a 10-day tour of agricultural projects in Israel.
He said the cost of flight ticket, visa, accommodation, feeding and local transportation would be borne by [pro_ad_display_adzone id=”10″]the company.
Odeh disclosed that the state government had made provisions for the travel allowances of Agriculture experts selected for the trip.[pro_ad_display_adzone id=”10″]
The Executive Secretary also said that the agency has approved scholarship for three students for four years in tertiary institutions in the state.
He explained that three final year students, in Medicine, Law and Agriculture would also benefit from the scholarship for the next four years. (NAN)
