Abuja (Sundiata Post) — Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has made ridiculed the Minister of Information, Lai Mohammed, over Mohammed’s insistence that former President Goodluck Jonathan did not act accordingly regarding the Chibok girls’ issue.

Jonathan had denied the reports that he rejected offer from the British government to help him rescue the abducted Chibok girls, describing the reports as false.

The British government recently came out to dismiss the reports, saying that Jonathan never rejected its offer.

But Mohammed, however, insisted that Jonathan should not have engaged in finger-pointing on the matter.

“While former President Jonathan reserves the right to defend his administration, he should not engage in finger-pointing by saying, in a statement, that ‘some people, who have obviously been playing politics with the issue of Chibok girls, will stop at nothing to further their interest,” Mohammed maintained.

In Jonathan’s defence, Fani-Kayode took to his Twitter handle, @realFFK, and urged Mohammed to “stop barking like a rabid dog”.

The spokesman of the presidential campaign of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) also advised Mohammed to stop wearing dirty pampers.

“Now that the British govt. has denied the allegation that @GEJonathan refused to allow them to help rescue the Chibok girls, Liar Mohammed…

“…should bow his head in shame, stop barking like a rabid dog, stop pointing fingers at others, and stop wearing dirty pampers. Shame on him!” Fani-Kayode mocked the government’s spokesman.

Earlier, Fani-Kayode had described the reports that Jonathan rejected UK’s offer to rescue the trapped Chibok girls as “childish and asinine”.

Fani-Kayode also claimed that elements in the APC were behind it.

“The allegation by the UK’s @guardian that @GEJonathan rejected an offer by the UK govt to rescue the Chibok girls is childish and asinine.

“It is true that the Chibok girls were abducted under @GEJonathan’s watch, but it is also true that elements in @MBuhari’s APC were behind it,” he wrote.
