Amman – Jordanian Prime Minister, Abdullah Ensour, said Syrian refugees influx has cost the country more than 7 billion dollars since 2011.
He disclosed this on Tuesday in Amman at a conference on refugees, security and development in the Middle East.

said that Jordan suffered great consequences in light of the influx of large numbers of Syrian refugees which have exceeded 1.3 million.
The prime minister said the influx of Syrian refugees impacted all sectors in the country including health and education.
“The Syrian crisis is an unprecedented one.
“It brought destruction and chaos to the whole region and millions of Syrians were made either displaced in their own country or refugees in neighbouring countries or in Europe,”he said.
Ensour said the conflicts in the Middle East created humanitarian crises and it would take a long time to address these crises that affect sustainable development in the region. (Xinhua/NAN)
