KANO – The Kano State Government has approved N500 million for the construction of residential houses at Emir’s Palace, Kofar Kudu, Babban Daki and Dorayi areas of the state.
Alhaji Yusuf Dambatta, state Commissioner for Lands and Survey, made this known at a news conference on the outcome of the State Executive Council meeting in Kano on Wednesday.
The commissioner said the council had also approved N36 million for the procurement of Walk-in Cold Rooms. [eap_ad_1] “The council also approved N18 million for the construction of motorised boreholes at Kura Informatics Institute, Madobi Midwifery and School of Midwifery at Gezawa.
“The council approved N3.5 million for the screening of the remaining 23 staff of the Triumph Publishing Company and fund for their outstanding allowances’’, he said.
He restated government’s determination to develop infrastructure in the state as part of the measures to improve the welfare of the people. (NAN)
