NAIROBI – Kenya’s central bank invited bids on Tuesday for a five-year Treasury bond worth 13 billion shillings ($126 million)in a tap sale.
The bank said in a statement the bond will have an average yield rate and coupon of 12.465 percent and it will receive bids between Aug.29 and Aug.31.
At its auction on Aug.23, the weighted average yield on the bond fell to 12.465 percent from 12.520 percent from the last sale of a five-year bond in June.
