NAIROBI – Kenya’s economy will grow at over 6 percent in 2018 and move towards 7 percent in the medium term, Kenya’s Finance Minister Henry Rotich said on Tuesday.
Earlier, Rotich trimmed the growth forecast for 2017 to 5.0 percent from an earlier 5.5 percent due to the effects of drought and political uncertainty arising from a prolonged election cycle.
