Scandal super star, Kerry Washington is not a happy wife as her just-wedded husband; Nnamdi Asomugha just got sacked from the San Francisco 49ers on Monday. The 32 year old NFL corner-back has played only 3 games from his one year contract with the team in April.
According to ESPN, Nnamdi will be replaced by Eric Wright who just came out of a non-football injury list. Nnamdi signed a one-year contract with the five-time Super Bowl champions in April after being released by the Philadelphia Eagles in 2012.
Reports confirm he played in just three games, recording a disappointing three tackles and two passes defensed. And it appears the team’s management were not too happy with the return on their investment, and have now decided to cut their losses.
However the case, the athlete‘s personal life is looking far brighter than his career. He is now expecting his first child with the 36-year-old Scandal star [Kerry] who is said to be ‘about four months along.’ The dynamic duo married in secret in June in Hailey, Idaho, after stepping out together for a year.
What does this mean for Kerry whose career is looking far bigger, brighter and better than her husband’s?
