Lamido lauds security agencies in Jigawa

DUTSE – Gov. Sule Lamido of Jigawa State has commended security operatives and paramilitary agencies for ensuring peace and stability in the state for the past seven years of his administration.
Lamido gave the commendation during Ramadan breakfast with the Heads of Security Agencies in Dutse.
He explained that their primary task was to protect lives and property and they had done that effectively in the last seven years of his administration.
“I am indebted to Nigerian Army, Police, Civil Defence Corps, Nigeria Immigration Service, Prisons, Customs, NDLEA and FRSC for the maintenance of peace in the state.[eap_ad_2]
“They have been our partners, let me thank them for standing by me and by the state to provide security,’’ he said.
According to him, their services are uncommon and appreciated because where there is no security, there will be no development.
Lamido, who said he was on his last lap as governor, appealed to the security agencies to give same support and cooperation to his successor. (NAN)[eap_ad_3]
