Lagos –  The Lagos State Government has assured residents that the challenges of public water supply presently being experienced in some parts of the state will soon be addressed.

The State Commissioner for Environment, Mr Babatunde Adejare gave the assurance in a statement issued on Monday in Lagos.

Adejare attributed the challenge to technical hitches and assured residents that efforts were being made to address them once and for all.

“The state government is on top of the situation and I can assure residents that before the week runs out, they will begin to enjoy regular water supply.

“The Lagos Water Corporation is working round the clock to address the technical hitches and we need to get it right once and for all,” Adejare said.
