KAFIN-HAUSA (JIGAWA) – The Kafin-Hausa Local Government Area, Jigawa, on Thursday, organised a one-day sensitisation exercise for 93 community leaders on maternal and child care services.
The council chairman, Alhaji Bako Tamballe, who inaugurated the workshop, said the exercise was part of a comprehensive campaign to control maternal and infant mortality rate.
Tamballe, represented by his deputy, Alhaji Muhammad Sallau, said the exercise was designed to expose the participants to the basic health tips on safe pregnancy and child survival issues.
