Abuja – A 40-year-old man, Lawal Kunle, was on Tuesday arraigned in a Wuse Zone 2 Senior Magistrates’ Court, Abuja, for alleged dangerous driving and obstruction of traffic.
The prosecutor, Sgt. Mohammed Abu, told the court that the matter was reported at Maitama Police Station by one Ahmed Tijani of NNPC Towers, Central Area, Abuja.
Abu said that the accused drove his car dangerously which resulted to an accident that damaged a Jeep driven by the complainant.

The prosecutor put the cost of repairing the damaged car at N5.4 million.
The accused, however, pleaded not guilty to the offences.
The Senior Magistrate, Mrs Mini Katsina-Alu, granted him bail in the sum of N100, 000 with two sureties in like sum.
Katisina-Alu ordered that the sureties must live within the court’s jurisdiction and adjourned the case till Aug. 6 for further hearing. (NAN)
