Minister, club owners meet on way forward for Nigerian football

– The Minister of Sports, Tammy Danagogo, on Tuesday meet with the Representatives of the 20 Nigeria Professional Football () clubs football in the country.

The Acting Secretary of Club Owners, Aloy Chukwuemeka, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in a telephone interview on Sunday the would discuss the way forward for Nigeria football.

Chukwuemeka said imperative for the premier clubs to meet with the minister to add their voice to the current almost attracted ban on the country’s football.

“As football administrators, we are the foundation of football management and administration, even recognises too.

“So, we are in a position to give advice on the principles and protocols of football administration.

“Being that there is a little in Nigeria football, we deem fit to converse with the minister and suggest the way forward,’’ Chukwuemeka said.

NAN that the scheduled to take place in also deliberate on the way forward as the 2013/2014 season enters its concluding phase.
