Director Public Affairs of NCC, Tony Ojobo, has received the Grandix International Award for Excellence and National Development.

The award was presented by GRANDIX International Magazine.
The award ceremony held at Barcelona Hotel, Abuja on March 9, 2017; but Ojobo was presented today (March 17) in his office at the NCC Head Office because he could not attend the ceremony, which held at the peak of preparations for the unveiling of the programmes for “Year of the Telecom Consumer.”

Twelve Nigerians in different sectors of the economy were honoured, including Prof. Vincent Tenebe, former Vice Chancellor of National Open University of Nigeria; Lady Kate Odabi, founder of Deo Gratuas Schools Limited; and; Dr. Jake Ekpelle, Founder of Albino Foundation.

The award is coming just few hours before NCC’s Chief Executive, Prof. Umar Danbatta will receive on behalf of the Commission, “The Best Government Agency in Nigeria Award” from the Leadership Newspapers Limited.
