ADO-EKITI – The NDLEA  in Ekiti State says it is determined to rid the state  of drug traffickers.

The Public Relations Officer of the agency, Mr Peter Njoku, said this in  an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Ado-Ekiti.

Njoku said the rate at which  residents consume  and sell  illicit drugs in the state was alarming.

He, however,  said officers of the agency had already mapped out strategies to tackle the menace.

Njoku said his  officers were now  equipped with  vehicles and arms  to enable them carry out their operations effectively.

The  spokesman  warned those  indulging in illicit drugs  to desist from such acts.(NAN)
