According to her, walking is good for everyone’s health being a natural way to exercise.
“For us to be healthy, we need to walk at least 30 minutes per day and everybody must exercise thrice a week,” Komolafe said.
The neurologist advised vehicle owners to pack at a distance where they could trek for at least 15 minutes before getting to their offices.
“Walking increases the intake of oxygen, promotes healthy cell growth and enhances the release of toxins; going for a walk is both invigorating and relaxing,’’ she said.
The neurologist also advised parents to buy footballs for their children to exercise rather than allow them engage in online games.
She further appealed to parents to adopt a healthy diet with a view to maintaining proper weight for members of the family.
Komolafe, who cautioned against excessive intake of salt, called for consumption of more fruits and vegetable. (NAN)
