Abuja (Sundaiat Post) – President Muhammadu Buhari is in early lead as he has beaten Atiku Abubakar in four out of the 5 states announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission on Monday.
The official results so far released by INEC showed that the presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress,(APC), President Muhammadu Buhari has floored his People’s Democratic Party counterpart, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar with 490, 413 votes.
The states and number of votes scored by these two contending parties where the presidential results have been released are as follows;

Sundiata Post recalls that while President Buhari has raked in 1, 316, 976 votes from these states, Atiku Abubakar is trailing him with total vote of 1, 173, 437.
The election umpire announced the 5 results from the states before it adjourned for 45 minutes to give room for other returning officers of other states to get their results ready.
INEC said commencement of collation will continue by 5:00pm.
