Makurdi – The Nigerian Army Institute of Technology and Environmental Studies (NAITES), Makurdi on Saturday matriculated 1,300 students during its 11th matriculation ceremony in Makurdi.
Speaking at the occasion, the Rector of NAITES, Brig.-Gen. Clement Ojo, said that the school would continue to strive to achieve academic excellence.
He advised the students to shun cultism as such offence would attract outright expulsion because the institute had zero tolerance for cultism.
The rector also warned the students against indecent dressing, pointing out that the institution had no room for indecency.
Also speaking, the Chief of Army Staff, Lt. – Gen. Tukur Buratai, said that the school was well structured to ensure academic excellence.

Buratai advised the students to shun vices that would tarnish the image of the institution and be peace ambassadors.

He congratulated the students on their admission and urged them to shun vices such as cultism and examination malpractices.
