Isolated thunderstorms are forecasted for parts of Lagos, Cross River, and Akwa Ibom states during the morning hours, with more thunderstorm activity expected over the South West Inland and coastal parts later in the day.
Looking ahead to Thursday, NiMet predicts sunny skies over the northern region, with isolated thunderstorms possible in parts of Kebbi, Zamfara, Taraba, and Kaduna states. The North Central region is expected to be sunny with isolated thunderstorms over certain areas during the day.
In the southern region, cloudy conditions with spells of sunshine are forecasted, with isolated thunderstorms anticipated over various states throughout the afternoon and evening.
As for Friday, NiMet forecasts sunny skies over the northern region, with isolated thunderstorms possible in parts of Niger, the Federal Capital Territory, Kwara, and Kogi during the morning hours. In the southern region, cloudy conditions with intervals of sunshine are expected, along with isolated thunderstorms in several states later in the day.
