NiMet predicts hazy weather, poor visibility for Thursday

Abuja – The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet), has predicted dusty/hazy weather with localized visibility of 5,000 metres and below over the central states of the country on Thursday.
The prediction is contained in the Weather Outlook issued by NiMet’s Central Forecast Office (CFO), in Abuja on Wednesday.
NiMet also predicted that the coastal areas would experience misty/foggy conditions in the morning with partly cloudy conditions over the southwest.[pro_ad_display_adzone id=”70560″]

However, in the South east, it predicted localised rain showers during the afternoon and evening periods.
It also predicted that inland areas would experience misty/foggy conditions in the morning with prospects of haziness during the afternoon and evening hours.
NiMet stated that the Northern states would experience dust haze during the forecast period with visibility ranging from 2-5km. (NAN)
