Abuja – The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has predicted that the dust suspension would continue to cause reduced visibility below 1000m over the Northern and Central axis of the country.
This is contained in the Weather Alert issued by NiMet’s Central Forecast Office on Wednesday in Abuja.
The prediction said that the wind strength was expected to vary between 20 Kilometres and 35 Kilometres as it moves towards the Central states in North easterly orientation.[pro_ad_display_adzone id=”70560″]
It added that Abuja, Jos, Minna, Bida and Ilorin would likely experience visibility range of 500m to 1500m during the forecast period.
According to the prediction flight operations may be disrupted in some airports across the country. (NAN)
