NOVOBABEL, a leading language services provider for major sports events in China, has named Jeff Ruffolo as the Senior English Editor of the Youth Olympic Games official website according to an announcement by the presiden of the company, Mr. Song Jian.
For more than nine years, Mr. Ruffolo served as president of Ruffolo Communications, a full service public relations agency based in Irvine, until moving to China permanently in 2007 to serve as Senior Editor, Media and Communications for the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympic Organising Committee.
NOVOBABEL was the language service provider for the Games of the XXIX Olympiad in Beijing, the 2013 Asian Youth Games in Nanjing as well as the 2nd Summer Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing.

Mr. Ruffolo is one of the world’s leading Olympic and sports marketing experts, having served in China as Senior Expert, Media and Communications for the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympic Organizing Committee and Executive Advisor for The 2010 16th Asian Games Organizing Committee.
He is the author of “Inside the Beijing Olympics”, a first person account of the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics and is a member of the board of directors of the Big Sky Committee for the 2026 Winter Olympic Games in Montana, USA.
Mr. Ruffolo has served as the English Editor of the 2013 Asian Youth Games official website and spent more than 16 years in senior management with China Southern Airlines, China’s largest airline.
