Internationally renown super model Oluchi Orlandi ( nee Onweagba) has been approved the franchise to run and host the African version of America’s next top model which will be called Africa’s next top model.
Oluchi won the M-Net modeling contest called ‘Face of Africa’ when she was only 17years old and since then has been featured in magazines in different parts of the world. She is glad to have brought Africa’s next top model to Africa, this way she creates an avenue for other African girls to aspire to be professional models just as she is. The show will include 12 girls contesting to be Africa’s next top model, the winner gets a cash prize of $50,000 and a 1 year contract with DNA Model Management New York, the same agency Oluchi belongs to.
The show sponsored by Procter & Gamble,CBS, Etisalat, Snapps, Nature’s gentle touch, Verve, South African Tourism etc is set to air on Sunday the 10th of November 2013 on DSTV channel 151.
